Episode 1 Synopsis:
Romeo Tan and Cheryl Wee
They are both a bit nervous and excited about meeting each other.
They have previously met at work a few times but do not know each other very well.
 

Romeo feels that Cheryl is kinda cold and hard to get to know before meeting her
and is worried that it might be hard to break the ice later.
He says that because of his name, ROMEO, people normally
associate him to be a playboy or a romantic.
But he is actually quite the opposite. 

 

They meet at Universal Studios, Sentosa and have a quick snack at the burger joint.
There's some awkwardness as they start chatting.


 

Romeo buys the food and she says she eats anything, but requests him not to buy too much.
Romeo shares his childhood stories where he was more plump.
Cheryl can relate to him as she shares her that she put on some weight around 10.
They both share how they started their first diet. 

 

They move on to the rides at the Amusement Park and
Cheryl expresses that Romeo is quite considerate as he had prepared
the raincoat and towel during the Jurassic Wet Ride. 

 
 



They both like each other eyes.
Romeo says that he is quite surprised that it was quite comfortable to be around Cheryl.
 

Wong Jinglun and Jayley Woo
Jayley and Jinglun have been arranged to meet at SHUFFLE at Clarke Quay by the crew. 


 

 They have worked together before but this is the first time they're on a date.
So they're both a bit nervous. 



Jinglun actually went to get a more trendy hair cut a few days earlier before.

He also prepared a piano and singing performance at the beginning to surprise her at the cafe.
Jayley can't stop laughing when she is surprised by his gesture. 




They talk a lot and Jayley says she was expecting a lot of lame jokes from him.
Apparently he was quite the joker during their working stint together.

She tries to call him "Big Brother" as she says he is much older.
He says it's inappropriate to bring his age up.

He asks her what she felt when she knew she was paired up with him.
What kind of guy does she like?
For him, he was hoping his date was her. (Wow)
He further adds that he used to have crushes on tomboyish girls like her.

She says she kinda likes bad boys with a good heart.
He asks what if its a good boy with a bad heart.
She asks if he means he's a wife beater.



Xu Bin and Ming Bridges


The pair meet up at the Water Theme Park in Sentosa.
As Ming is Eurasian, her command of Mandarin is not very strong. 


 
Xu Bin, on the other hand, is not as conversant as her in English.
So the pair take some time to chat with their language barriers.
 

They do a lot of water sports activities together. 



 

Ming finds him considerate coz Xu Bin helped her with her foam board.
Xu Bin says any guy would have done that.

 

 

He finds that she looks younger and more bubbly in person.
Her photos made her more mature.
He asks her what kind of water creatures she is fearful of.
She replies with "Sharks and Stingrays"
 

He follows up with taking her to the Sting Ray area of the Water park. (!!!)
She is a bit hesitant but goes along.
After feeding and playing with the Sting Rays for a while,
she realizes it's not as bad as she thought. 







 


 

They take a short break and start chatting.
Xu Bin excuses himself after he receives a phone call. 




 

He offers to buy some food and she agrees.
While he is away on errand, Ming is approached by another guy.
