He spend $50,000 on his dental surgery that took 6 hours. He revealed that 16 of his teeth (Adults normally have a set of 32 teeth, this means half of his teeth was in bad condition) had decayed and had to be extracted immediately as they were affecting his gums.

He rallied everyone to watch his film " Huat Ah! Huat Ah! Huat!", as it would be the last time his old set of crooked teeth would appear on the big screen. He also shared that despite his new improved smile, his family and friends prefers his former look.
