Plus, some avid Apple fans have their own version of what they would deem
the best possible looks for the new iPhone.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's a look at some other outlandish and creative ideas on the next generation of iPhone:
> iPhone 5 = iPhone 6 ? iPhone 7? iPhone 8?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Transformer iPhone 6 Concept:

Phone transforms into a portable mini computer with virtual projector and keyboard outputs.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. Edge to Edge Screen Display iPhone 6 Concept:

Finally here's what the concept would look like in the wild. We hope that Apple thinks outside of the box for the next big version of the iPhone.

Here's what videos would look like on the wider screen.
Another look at a full screen website.

3. Transparent iPhone 6 Concept:

4. Concept iPhone 6 with a curved display

Nicholas Lamm and Matteo Gianni interested in spy shots GSM Arena, created the concept of the new iPhone 6. The device is part of the front and back, and tapered with almost no edges.

A similar idea has already been launched by Samsung last week (9 Oct 2013)>
Instead of the convex (protruding outwards) design, it is con-caved (protruding inwards).
Read about it here: http://singpost.blogspot.sg/2013/10/samsung-galaxy-round-curved-display.html

Samsung's curved smartphone is the Galaxy Round, launches in Korea tomorrow

On the site, it's stated that "Apple has a new patent for a similar device:"

5. Curved Body iPhone 6 Concept:

Similar to the idea above. The back body is slighly curved for a better grip.
But the front display is flat.

I think it would be similar to the feel of holding a sliced mango.

Mermaid Sighting on Animal Planet Documentary - Is it a Scam?

Are Mermaids Real?

Screenshots from the infamous Viral Video:
Mermaids: The New Evidence

There's a viral video going around Facebook recently.
It shows a quick glimpse of a mermaid/alien looking creature underwater in the deep sea.

Here's the video footage:

Personally, when I saw it, I had to watch it over a few times to analyze it.

Firstly, the video showed a mermaid that looked more like an alien, with huge eyes and a bald head. Which was kinda strange and interesting at the same time. It's a combination of 2 elements I've never envisioned in my mind before. Kudos.

Secondly, the webbed hand on the glass looked really clear on the screen.
Too clear to be precise.
I mean, why was the lighting in bright cyan blue in that area on where the camera focused?

Thirdly, it's quite unbelievable that a spear could be used to catch fish underwater in the deep sea.
The speed of the spear would have been severely be slowed down in deep water, under high pressure.
So after watching the video clip a few times, I was quite skeptical.

I quick search on the net exposed the truth to the video. It was a hoax.

It was apparently a fake documentary made by the producers from Animal Planet.
The producers admitted it was a work of fiction as shown below in an article:

30 May 2013

Excerpt from Article:
" People can't get enough of them -- even if it's a hoax! Animal Planet premiered their special Mermaids: The New Evidence on Sunday, May 26, and the staged documentary set a ratings record for the network."

"Animal Planet managed to hook 3.6 million viewers with the special that speculates about the real-life existence of mermaids using actors, according to ABC News. The special is a sequel to 2012's "documentary," Mermaids: The Body Found.
"We wanted people to approach the story with a sense of possibility and a sense of wonder," Charlie Foley, the show's executive producer, told ABC News. "Hopefully that's what 'Mermaids' allowed viewers to do . . . allowed them to suspend their disbelief."

Another lead to add to the hoax, the original hoax documentary: "Mermaid: The Body Found" had an actor by the name of "Andre Weideman"

If you do a quick Google Search on "Andre Weideman"
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1382718/

You'll find his body of work as follows:

Filmography

Hide HideActor (8 titles)
2012 The Dinosaur Project
Pete Van Aarde

2012 Parys Parys (TV series)
Klein Koos La Grange

2011 Mermaids: The Body Found (TV movie)
Paul (as Andre Louis Weideman)

2010/II Sweetheart (short)
Ogilvy

What this means is that he acted in the supposed "Documentary" as a character.
He was not being himself. It also means it's a fake TV documentary.

So, Are Mermaids Real? Genuine? Hoax? You decide.

"News today, May 31, 2013 revealed that the story was a Mermaid Hoax, which has a declaimer at the end that described the program as ’science fiction’ based on ‘scientific theory.’"
