Yes, it's finally been confirmed by both Christopher and Fann. They're expecting a baby. Christopher Lee first revealed the news to Taiwanese media during a event today. Video below shows Fann and Christopher's representing agency in Taiwan. Their boss (from CatwalkAsia) announced their good news to the media.
Followed by Fann Wong at 3.45pm on Tuesday, 4th February, who made an announcement via her official Facebook page.
Here's my translated message of her FB post:
"I want to give a big shout-out to everyone to wish you a Happy New Year. Wishing you Good Luck in the Year of the Horse. And everything your heart desires. Thank you everyone for your continuing support and love. Today, I would like to share a piece of good news with everyone. I'm having a baby with Christopher Lee in the Year of the Horse. We are filled with aniticipation and joy for the arrival of the baby. The baby is doing okay, very healthy. I hope the baby can arrive healthy with everyone's blessings." According to a
report on xinmsn.com on 27th January 2013, Fann Wong is rumored to be expecting a baby currently. Source was from an insider in showbiz. But probably due to the Chinese Taboo (It's considered inauspicious to announce one's pregnancy during the 1st trimester) of protecting the baby during the 1st trimester, she is likely unable to announce her pregnancy just yet.
A representative from Fann’s management agency, Catwalk Asia, shared that Fann has been on "a long break" since Christmas last year and they do not interfere with their artistes' personal lives, and therefore could not confirm if she was pregnant.
Fann Wong's celebrated her birthday (27th January) with her hubby, Christopher Lee and close friends David Gan and Anita Hatta last night.
