Project W Channel U TV New Drama Variety Show

SHOW INTRODUCTION:
Combining info with drama, Project W is a fresh format that aims to be the ultimate guide for working women. Through the dramatic portrayal of the daily working lives of the team at “W Online”, tips on career, workplace survival, relationship-building and beauty/wellness/fashion will be dispensed.

Update:
After watching the first few episode, I was a bit surprised.
I thought this was going to be drama serial that was based on office politics.
But it's really kind of a infotainment show with segments of office life that
tries to link up the topics featured.

Some nice lighting, costume and casting.
But there's something that does not really gel at
times and it can get kinda awkward.
Like the concept and some of the info segments though.

Shelia Sim and Romeo Tan in New Show - Mystic Whispers (TING)

Came across these behind the scenes pictures from Shelia Sim's Instagram.

She was working on a new drama (Comedy + Horror Genre) with Romeo Tan.

Titled "Mystic Whispers" (听), it also stars YI DA LI. 

She's always wearing headphones. Perhaps the character she's portraying keeps hearing "things"?

Shelia Sim 沈惠怡 & Elvin Ng 黄俊雄. Are They Dating?

Shelia Sim is 28 and Elvin Ng is 32 this year (2013).



Apparently they know each other from way back as
 Elvin had previously been a model for three years before he ventured into acting.
Shelia Sim was a full-time model before she dabbled in acting this year.

According to The New Paper interview on 19 May 2013,
they both reluctantly admitted that they have been getting closer.




There was some chemistry between the two of them in January 2013,
when they were both co-starring in the Channel 8 drama "I'm in Charge".





Shelia took the initiative to SMS Elvin after the production of the drama ended.
And that's how they started going out in group outings.

Here's an excerpt of the interview:

"When interviewed, both were initially reluctant to dish on each other.

It was only after repeated prodding that they relented and revealed their mutual affection.

Sparks flew between the co-stars on the set of Channel 8 drama I'm In Charge in January.

After filming wrapped in April, Sim sent Ng a message that sealed their blossoming friendship.

It said: "Elvin, please don't run away from me and retreat into your own world."

Ng, 32, was blown away by his leading lady's desire to break down his walls and he did as he was asked.

The pair now have stimulating conversations over WhatsApp and admitted that they have found a connection with each other."

In the same interview, Shelia shared more juicy details on Elvin's dating etiquette:

"Sim added that Ng also has a cheeky side, apart from being extremely filial and a gentleman.

She has been impressed by the fact that he will always rush to pay for their meals when they go out."

"Since filming wrapped up, they claimed that they have been out only on group dates that have included other local celebrities such as Rebecca Lim, Romeo Tan and Desmond Tan.

But Ng always drops Sim home after their outings."

Elvin Ng


According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elvin_Ng, Elvin began his career in acting in 2005.



He was from Jurong Primary School,
Catholic High School and National Junior College and
graduated with an honours degree in English Literature from the National University of Singapore

Elvin Ng was filming in China from June to August. Shelia expressed in the interview that she will miss him while he was away.

"On Ng leaving soon for China and Malaysia to film his next drama, Sim said: "I'm so sad that he will be gone for three months. But I have told him that I will go visit him."" 

It is now currently September. I guess Elvin should be back and they should be continuing to find out more about each other on one-to-one dates by now?

Who knows?!!
