Been catching 3 Meals A Day Fishing Village religiously on Channel M these few weeks on Saturdays.
The little puppy in the show is so cute. His name is Sanchae. Is he a chihuahua? They keep playing with him and showering him with kisses. He flips around on his back and acts really cute!
Not sure why, but this show is kinda addictive. It's about 3 guys stuck on an island.
They have to fish, grow vegetables, make kimchi, bake bread and cook meals as requested by the PD (Producer/Director).
I don't even know who these celebs are, but it's amusing to watch how they go about surviving the day on the island with the bare necessities.
If you really wanna watch the show, you have to subscribe to Channel M. I guess I have to watch it religiously coz there is no other way I can catch up on the episodes if I miss it on TV. Bleah....

SHOW PLOT SYNOPSIS:
Li Dashan (Desmond Tan) is a maverick lawyer who enjoys doing pro bono work. Beneath the ruggedness and a tattoo-laden body is a confident, assured and warm hearted person who will go the extra length to help his clients, mostly teenagers and young adults, solve their legal problems.
In the course of his work he met Zhang Xiaoxian (Rebecca Lim), a cosmetic surgeon, who unknown to Li was a previous acquaintance and a witness to a near fatal incident involving Li when he was 15 years old. Their relationship blossomed but would Xiaoxian find the courage to tell Li the truth?

Alvin visits Ziwen by posing as his classmate and tries in vain to find out why he tried to kill himself. Dashan gets close to Ziwen and his mother, and learns that before Ziwen attempted suicide, he had received a call from James. He finds the mobile phone Ziwen had smashed in the room.
Dashan visits James and discovers he has a violent streak and breaks things easily when provoked. James also vents his anger on his maid. Dashan asks Xiaoxian out, as he wants to find out about James’ psychological profile. He learns that before James was disfigured, he had consulted Xiaoxian to ask about plastic surgery.

Sixteen-year-old Zhang Simin is accused of murdering her father, Zhang Shouzhong, by leaving the gas turned on at home. Dashan accepts the case. He learns Shouzhong had a violent streak and his family suffered for years.
Simin turns out to be Xiaoxian’s step-sister. Xiaoxian holds herself responsible, as she did not help Simin escape their father’s clutches. Dashan sympathises with Simin and makes Xiaoxian the promise that he will do all he can to help her get a lighter sentence. However, Simin refuses to cooperate; she admits she is the culprit.

Unable to bear the sight of her mother being arrested, Simin is inconsolable. Qiangwei reveals she has only six months to live because of cancer, and hopes Simin will take care of Si’an.
Xiaoxian and Simin object to Kaili’s method of defending Qiangwei and want Dashan to defend her instead. Dashan himself is disappointed with Kaili, and decides to represent Qiangwei in court. However, he doubts she is the real culprit.

Fifteen-year-old Liu Anqi, who has the IQ of a five-year-old, is accused of theft. Dashan and social worker Meiyue almost knock into the drunk Liu Feifei, while taking Anqi home. Feifei is Anqi’s mother. Yoyo is rushed to hospital with an acute lung infection.
Dashan remembers how Dajiang had regretted letting Yoyo take drugs, which caused her to be in a coma. Qiangwei is happy Simin can continue with her studies in prison.

Dashan is injured after being pushed by Feifei. He and Anqi are taken to hospital. Dashan is reminded of how Dajiang had committed suicide in prison. Old Bao verifies that Feifei is not Guoqiang’s mistress, as all she does when they meet is to take money.
Dashan tells Xiaoxian he is sensitive about drug issues, as drugs had caused his brother’s death and also Yoyo to be in a coma. He lost his cool when he saw Feifei giving Anqi drugs. Xiaoxian is happy Dashan likes her, but she still has qualms about the past.
Fifteen-year-old Kiki Luo Peiling borrows her tuition teacher’s house to hold a birthday party. She is raped by a masked man, and pictures of her in the nude are uploaded onto the Net. Tutor Deng Yongjun is charged with rape. Yongjun is Old Bao’s cousin.
He asks Dashan for help and claims he did not rape Kiki. Keke got drunk after she was rejected by the guy she liked. Yongjun consoled Kiki and got drunk too. When he woke up, he and Kiki were on the bed. Alvin is unhappy Dashan is helping Yongjun instead of Kiki.

Alvin yells at Dashan and declares he will no longer regard him as his big brother. Dashan explains that the culprit could be someone else. Everyone criticises Dashan for defending an unscrupulous teacher.
Xiaoxian overhears Dashan joking about plastic surgery and loses her courage; she does not reveal the truth. Dashan urges Kiki to remove her mean online posts. Yingjun tails Kiki and tells her that he suffered a similar fate when he was a student and does not want history to repeat itself.

Wang Baihe, Jingang and Chaoren rob a taxi driver, Liang Youcai. Youcai loses control of his vehicle and kills a passerby, Paul Feng.Dashan accepts the case. He goes to see Baihe, who is in her seventh month of pregnancy.
She complains that he is the only person who has visited her in six months.Dashan posts bail for Baihe, so that her baby will not have to be delivered in prison. As her divorced parents refuse to take her in, Dashan arranges for her to stay at a social welfare home. He even allows her to work at Yahui’s office.

Chen Guo is sure Dashan will want to investigate the case himself. Baihe wants to move back to the social welfare home, as her stepfather has peeped at her in the bathroom and molested her. Dashan urges her to bear with the situation, so as to gain sympathy from the judge during the hearing.
Old Bao learns Youcai has been complaining that his wife is unfaithful. Baihe tries to pay Youcai a visit. She witnesses him quarrelling with his wife. In a rage, Youcai pushes Baihe to the floor, which leaves her in great discomfort. Fortunately, the baby's well-being is unaffected.

Dashan is given an award by the Law Society for his pro bono work. He thanks Chen Guo for his help and moves everyone with a video on Alvin and Yahui’s cases. Alvin wants Xiaoxian to remove his chest tattoos.
He has decided to take up a baking course and hopes to become a pastry chef and run a shop with Yahui. Alvin, Yahui, Melvin, Kiki and the others are having a barbecue by the beach when Guan Xianyu and his gang turn up to create trouble. Alvin gets into a fight while protecting Yahui. He injures Xianyu and disappears mysteriously, which leadss everyone to assume he has gone into hiding.

Dashan awakes with a start and realises he had dreamed about Alvin’s body being found. He receives a call from Xiayi and rushes to the beach, but Alvin is nowhere to be found. Xiayi returns home and continues to feed Alvin with medicine to keep him in a daze.
He claims Dashan is a bad person and he will protect Alvin. Kaili shows Dashan a stack of photographs of Xiaoxian’s supposed affair with Peter. She asserts that the compensation can be reduced to $4 million. Xiaoxian insists she has not seen Peter. When Dashan flares up, Xiaoxian writes him off as being too emotional and asks for a change of lawyer. Dashan refuses to comply, and they quarrel.

Dashan has flashbacks of the past and realises it was he who pushed Yoyo off, not Dajiang. Alvin feels bad when he learns Dashan sustained brain injuries and is in a coma. He blames himself. Chen Guo believes Dashan will come round soon and help Alvin fight the case.
Dashan comes round and reveals it was he who pushed Yoyo off the building and that there was another girl there that day. Mingxia asks to settle the case out of court with compensation of $3 million. Peter offers to help Xiaoxin with half the amount.
